Sparkle Belt

Yesterday, I had to run errands, do groccery shopping, etc..which means my whole day I am running around on the bus, walking, etc..( no car)..So I found this belt at a little store for ONE dollar...and it goes so well with so much. I immediately added it to my outfit.

I also added it to my dress today!! Love it..
I have not been shopping for clothes in MONTHS!! Most of my clothes are thrifted and ONE DOLLAR and I work within my closet. I LOOOOOOVE putting outfits together and having fun with my clothing..I think of new ideas daily.

This beautiful dress I thrifted for one dollar last year..I love the colors and design and can wear it so many ways..Today I wore it over a lace T, and tan cardigan. The belt adds an extra splash!!
Oh how I love being a GIRL!!! what FUN!!!
Thank You Jehovah God for making me female...Because I sooooo ENJOY it. :)

African Friends at the memorial^..I love the way they use the same Fabrics to make matching outfits. So beautiful and colorful.

My whole life someone was telling me I wasnt cute enough, I needed to "tone down"..I needed to be this, Or that, Or My hair wasnt right..Or why didnt I "act like this" or "act like that"...I am Sooooo glad I am finally at a point where ALL I care about is pleasing Jehovah God. And yeah, I try not to offend anyone on purpose but no matter WHAT I do, someone ALWAYS gets niffed..so SCREW IT!!!! Seriously..Some people need a BEAT DOWN...
They tell you to "be yourself" and someone will LOVE you. That isnt always the case.
Sometimes all people see are your supposed flaws and they nit pick you to death.
NEVER ALLOW anyone to KILL YOUR SOUL or your creativity.
We are all allowed to express ourselves within reason..
Consider Jehovah God first, and then if others dont like it, that's too bad.
You cannot be anyones puppet. AMEN.

And you know there have been times in my life when I felt so bad about myself I wanted to die. I allowed others to make me feel inferior. I thought when someone I liked didnt like me back that I was worthless. But I rose above that. I really appreciate myself now. Sure, I have low times...But I have COME INTO MY OWN. AMEN.

Some of my fave looks this year..I had fun putting these outfits together..I am savoring the moments since I will not be this "young" again until the new system. :)

As you can see, I LOVE color!!! and prints!! I really supress a lot of what I would wear if I didnt have boundaries..But this way, it makes it FUN and challenging to express myself within reason.
Again, I do not wear short skirts around town unless I am wearing pants, leggings or tights, and I try to express my individual style in a "modest" and tasteful way..Of course there is a time and place to wear each outfit. I would not wear jeans to a christian meeting. Or a bathing suit to the store..etc...

 

From 2000-2006 I didnt care what I wore..As long as it was clean.

I didnt buy ONE item of clothing and I was so depressed I just wore ANYTHING..but fashion has always been who I am..I LOVE to express myself and have FUN with clothing...I don't spend a fortune on clothing..I cant afford it. I must be very thrifty...Like I said, the last time I shopped was months ago, and I bought items for ONE dollar..I can STRETCH my wardrobe into endless combinations..that is the FUN of it..:)

My blog is about ANYTHING that interests me..and I go through phases of what takes my fancey..but Fashion, Clothing and Fabrics will always be a part of who I am.

 I have always enjoyed just sitting down with a blank paper and pen and sketching ideas..from as young as I can remember..I always saw the ART in clothing and have had endless ideas...the THRILL of being female to me, is dressing up!!!

I really appreciate ethnic fashions from around the world..I get inspired when I see what people come up with and how beautiful and unique people are all around the world.

I made this collage of my outfits lately...I have been in a tropical/hawaii mood...Too bad I am not there...but I can dress like I am.

I love life!!! and I appreciate it all!!!
I just dont always appreciate my situation or the drama/and horrors I have had to live.
But then again, if YOU are alive then YOU are a survivor. :)
This life is NOT all there is to life.
YES!!! we need to appreciate the lives we were given, but this is NOT where it ends. We are promised FOREVER..a human lifespan does NOT compare with FOREVER on earth, we will recieve. THIS IS REAL...and will happen!! and if I didnt believe it, I wouldnt be living this self sacrificing life and if I ever fall, please kick my butt into gear. ( in a nice way of course)...Being MEAN to people when they are down and out, NEVER works. Sadly some are mean and unthoughtful to others under the guise of "caring", but think FIRST...if what you say or do will bring someone down, then is it helpful?

And again, we all say and do the wrong things at times.
And for that, I apologize..because I never intentionally hurt anyone.

What a wonderful, encouraging Circuit assembly I just attended this past weekend.

I am so happy in my floral dress. 1$ at Goodwill last years purchase. The flower added the extra punch for Spring!

A friend sent me this photo of the memorial in Korea..( one of the many)..So encouraging that earthwide Jehovah's Witnesses are observing this occasion. I am very grateful to be taking part in this. :) ^
Ive been carrying my memorial invites around in Chinese and English. I was able to give some to Chinese people. And post some on public bulletin boards as I move around the city...It will be interesting to see who shows up..I really wish I could take the Chinese foreign language class in my area, but My 12 year old isnt interested and I cant neglect his spiritual needs to fullfill my little language fantasy. LOL
I met a nice Chinese couple on the bus and was able to give them an invite and have a little convo. That felt nice.
