This is about a witness brother who died at 107 years old. He survived concentration camps and adversity.
Today's watchtower was AWESOME. I was deeply encouraged by the meeting. I am so glad to have my faith and the awesome brotherhood.
Baptized since 1987 and holding on..I hope I stay on this path I have chosen. Not always easy. But rewarding.
I've been feeling so nostalgic lately..I cant believe so much time has passed by..It has truly gone by like a bullet. I am so glad I believe that this is NOT life all there is, because life is surely very short in this system of things...I never thought I would be this "old". I'm still in shock, denial, and pinching myself.
I just finished reading "escaping the khmer rouge". I have read countless stories but this is one of the best ones I have read. This poor man watched his family killed before his eyes, suffered a horrible ordeal and then once he was in America, he was put into prison for a crime he didn't do. He ended up dying of disease...I am so inspired by so many life stories. I may openly vent at times but I am never ungrateful. I'm simply honest. I'm inspired by so many people who have undergone severe tragedies. The human spirit has the will to live...
I have a passion for the Vietnam war era, and the stories of that time period. Seeing as that was the time I was brought into this world. I also went to school with so many Cambodian, Laotian and Hmong students during the 80's and 90's.
With a Friend ...1990...
With Khna Seng..We were very close all through high school..I wonder were she is now?
