I admire the courage it takes to fight for
something u believe in. And I am so happy to be part of a world wide
organization that remains politically neutral. We do not fight our
fellow man or take up arms. As Jehovah's witnesses we believe all people
are equal and the world belongs to God. Although we strive to be law
abiding citizens and do not protest the law...I pray I stay faithful and
strong to my beliefs. We are tried in small ways daily.
Sometimes when I get depressed and lonely, I think of all our Korean brothers alone in prison and keeping their integrity. Many have DIED in prison. And of course, this just does not only go for Korean brothers, but many in other parts of the world like Russia, Countries in Africa, etc..
I know in Korea, every witness male gets sent to prison for not joining the military requirement. And refusal to bare arms.
It's a very sad situation that should really allow us to reflect and not take our current "freedoms" for granted.
I love Korean dramas and pop music, but it sickens me that they do not allow for neutrality. I know there is a time limit to their prison sentences...like 3 years...I have to refresh my knowledge in this department..
A friend told me when she visited the bethal there, that there were no
young men at bethal and the ones who worked there were handicaped
because they got out of their military assignments. ( Her account as related to me) Sad. Their trials are not in vain...
Anyways, I made some more collages...of my looks that match TOP for FUN. :)
The comparisons Are undeniable. Our styles truly match and I am ever so entertained.
I made some fun posters using the "keep calm" generator..LOL :)
^I am really working on this..Easier said than done..INHALE...EXHALE...Prayer..
