Tracks of My tears

I really enjoy making these collages and finding the photos..It's amazing to see what the hands of time does to people..So sad..Yet inspirational to know they have lived and survived. Liz was on the point of death so many times in her life and she lived and overcame a lot.

The meeting last night was on point and VERY encouraging!!! Just what I needed. Even tho I prepared my lesson, being AT the meeting brought those points home and it was encouraging to hear all the comments. I have had many reasons to walk away from my faith ( as we all have been tested and tried if we are a witness) , but I would only be hurting myself. I love this scripture: PS 69:20:

"Reproach itself has broken my heart, and [the wound] is incurable.
And I kept hoping for someone to show sympathy, but there was none;
And for comforters, but I found none."

The circuit overseer brought this scripture out in one of his talks at the assembly and mentioned how sometimes even if we are doing what's right we will feel all alone and due to imperfection we will be treated badly even by those closest to us. We must always reflect on how to stay in the race instead of bickering and finding faults with others. :)
I remember when John Lennon was shot..seems like yesterday...My favorite Beatle. He died at only 40 years old.
I was in Tucson Arizona when Selena died. It was very surreal watching the News Reports with my Mexican roomates.
I really liked the group TLC..so sad..
I remember when Her plane crashed..Kaleb was a baby..

Growing up in Rhode Island Frank Sinatra will always be special to me..:) I grew up listening to his music, and having the old timers talk about good ole "frankie"..seeing him on TV specials and old movies..One of a kind!! My Italian American Heritage is reawakened when I listen to his music. :)

He died on my birthday. Michael Bublé doesnt come close to the stagemanship and aura Frank Sinatra had. I in no way "worship" these people as they are all human, used the toilet etc..But I admire talent and know a good thing when I see it.
This poster is so telling and heartfelt..Love the style/message of it.
^ I discovered this artist a few years back and really enjoy his music. I was curious as to what was popular PRE KHmer ROUGE Cambodia....

My favorite Elvis song is "in the Ghetto" and I also love "kentucky Rain".Now that I am a mom, it really impresses upon me the fact that EVERYONE was once a child. Breaks your heart to see how peoples lives turn out. Elvis was only 42 when he died.
I always enjoyed his "sukiyaki" song..and used to have it on vinyl
I cant believe how much this one looks like his, down to the rings...I took this of myself a few years ago @ 2010

This one I took of myself last month, but it totally matches this one...

This one is funny...

Both Outdoorsy, same type of outfit and mood
I found more photos that match TOPs. Again, purely coincidental..It's endless. We truly share the same style.
